# Quickstart

> Connect, browse, and complete your first Zonk.fun action.

## 1. Open the official app

Visit [zonk.fun](https://zonk.fun). Confirm the hostname before connecting a wallet.

## 2. Connect a browser wallet

Select **Connect Wallet** and choose an injected wallet such as Rabby or MetaMask. The production app supports Base Mainnet only.

## 3. Keep ETH available

You need ETH on Base Mainnet for gas. Buying also sends the reviewed ETH amount. Token creation is a nonpayable factory call, so it requires gas but sends `0 ETH` to the factory.

## 4. Choose an action

* Browse newest, trending, or searchable launches.
* Open a token page to review its lifecycle, indexed trades, chart, and activity.
* Create a token from the launch form.
* Review a fresh buy or sell quote and its minimum output.

## 5. Confirm and verify

Read the wallet prompt, confirm the network and contract, then sign. After submission, use the transaction link to inspect the receipt on [BaseScan](https://basescan.org). The token page can lag briefly while the indexer processes confirmed events.

  A displayed quote can become stale as other transactions change the market. Slippage protection sets a minimum output; it cannot remove price, gas, contract, or token risk.
