# Connect a wallet

> Use an injected browser wallet safely on Zonk.fun.

Zonk.fun uses RainbowKit with wagmi and viem. The current production connector is an injected browser wallet, including wallets such as Rabby and MetaMask.

1. Install or open a compatible browser wallet.
2. Select **Connect Wallet** on [zonk.fun](https://zonk.fun).
3. Approve the site connection in the wallet.
4. Switch the wallet to **Base** if prompted.
5. Confirm that the interface shows the address you intend to use.

The connected wallet is the signer. Zonk.fun does not ask for, store, or control a seed phrase or private key.

  Never enter a seed phrase or private key into Zonk.fun, its documentation, a support message, or a transaction form. A legitimate browser-wallet flow asks you to approve a connection or transaction inside the wallet extension.
